Excellent way of saving money and the environment by making vehicles last a reasonable length of time. After all far more damage is made to the environment building new vehicles than will come out the exhaust of present vehicles. From Thursday 2nd August Musters Road, from its junction with Melton Road to its junction with Chaworth Road including the left turn slip road will close for five weeks

Wilford Lane is also closed for five weekends from August 4th while Nottingham City Council carry out resurfacing work. Work will begin on Saturday 4 August and will take place on Saturdays and Sundays only over five weekends during the summer 8am – 6pm. -

CCTV catches serial scratcher
Officers are trying to trace a man after 31 reports of scratch damage to vehicles in Wilford on three nights over the last two months.

The latest spate of criminal damage happened on the 26th June but a number of vehicles were also damaged on 12 June and 3 May.
The main streets involved were Brookthorpe Way and The Downs.
Many of the vehicles targeted were the same as those damaged on previous dates.
CCTV has been released.
