New development on Wilford Lane reaches Public exhibition stage
Members of the public are invited to attend a public exhibition of the plans at the Becket School Wilford Lane, West Bridgford, on Monday 19 November, between 3pm and 7pm.

The plans for the site include a 2000 sq m supermarket, chain pub,coffee shop, retirement property and over 200 apartments.
The development will create new full and part-time jobs at a Lidl store, as well as at the pub and drive-thru coffee shop. Further jobs will be created at the retirement property. -

It was with great sadness and worry that we watched the events unfolding on Sunday night.

It was clear early on that our premises would be ok,but then we were left with the concern that we may not be able to get our vehicles out of the yard the following morning due to the many road closures in the area.

Two hundred and fifty million pound investment in Nottingham homes
People who live in council houses that are managed by Nottingham City Homes (NCH) are set to benefit from major investment in their homes over the next five years, it was announced today.

Unfurnished properties 20% cheaper to rent
A recent article suggested renters should choose unfurnished properties and spend £1500 on furniture of their own.

The reason being that unfurnished properties were around 20% cheaper and the initial outlay could be recouped in around 13-15 months.
Most landlords prefer to rent properties unfurnished in any case. Of course depending on your circumstances a furnished ready to go property may suit your needs better at that moment in time.

Full fibre broadband to be installed in all new homes
The Government has announced it will make it compulsory for all new build homes to be fitted with full fibre broadband.
