Nottingham Scooter Scheme Extended Again
Nottingham’s trial e-scooter rental scheme has been extended until the end of November next year, in line with dozens of other trials taking place across the country.

Twelve people have received a permanent ban from using Nottingham City Council’s experimental e-scooter scheme over their reckless behaviour.

Homeless families action plan
Nottingham City Council have taken the decision to covert a former care home, in order to house the increasing number of homeless families.

The Nottingham City Council has been advised that it can no longer afford to pay for bed and breakfast accommodation. This can cost as much as £150 per night. The former care home has stood empty since 2016. It will be converted into 29 family apartments. The cost of this will be recouped from rents received.

Nottingham Memorial Gardens Restoration plans
Nottingham City Council is ready to embark on the next stage of developing the Victoria Embankment Memorial Gardens, having received approval from the Executive Board to submit a bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) on 25 August.

Gedling Access Road Latest
Workforce and labour issues as well as delays over Covid have caused council spending on the Gedling Access Road to be more than £5 million over budget.

Council To Sell Off Assets To Reduce Shocking Debt
Nottingham City Council will sell off some of its assets including land in order to claw back nearly £1bn of debt it owes.
