Tumble dryer fire risks
Many home fires are caused by the build up of fluff in tumble dryer filters. Always de-fluff your tumble dryer after use, don't leave it on whilst your out or over night when you have gone to bed. Leaving fluff in your tumble dryer also means it takes longer for your machine to dry your clothes. So as well as safety their is a financial incentive to keep your machine clean.

Clocks go forward this coming weekend
Forward in March, back in October.
This year the clocks go forward on Sunday 31st March to mark the beginning of British Summertime. Which is also Mother's day, bad luck there. So those of us who get up early in the week will notice the lack of light in the morning whilst day light will stretch past 7 pm in the evenings.
Changing the clocks goes back like many things to war time. The Germans first, then the British followed to make the most of daylight working hours and reduce coal consumption.
