Big Red Movers at JCB
A great day was had by staff at BRM when we visited one of the JCB factories at Uttoxeter this week.Both male and female staff found it very interesting touring the assembly lines and design offices as well as the museum, which had on display the very first JCB as well as other items such as the land speed record breaking vehicle built by JCB. There were lots of great souvenirs in the visitor shop also.

Bechstein upright piano craned in to new home
When the customer called to book our services for their forthcoming move including a piano into a new house some 20 stone steps up from the pavement, they informed us that the other firms had turned the move down. The piano was just considered too heavy and valuable for the other firms to deal with.

Hire van crashes into one of our removal vehicles in Nottingham
A couple moving themselves with a hire van crashed into one of our vehicles this week at 9.30pm at night. The couple had started their self move at 09.00 in the morning and still had not finished emptying the old house when they hit our stationary vehicle. Fortunately for us our vehicle had only slight dents and scratches, the same could not be said for the hire van.

Upright piano delivered up 3 flights of stairs to new home
Big Red Movers have today collected a Langdon upright piano from Northampton and delivered it to an apartment building in the historic Lace Market area of Nottingham via 3 flights of stairs! Every one should own a Land Rover
Mitch has just insured the BRM Land Rover Defender with NFU Mutual for £101.00. This has risen a bit from last year when it was only £86.00. That is any driver, any mileage, fully comp etc.

And as always it has proved a useful tool in the winter months ensuring customers get their boxes to pack with and moved come moving day regardless of weather and road conditons when it has provided escort duties to the lorries with its own load of shovels, salt and grit.

Removal of pedal Harp and Grand Piano

New lorry is proving excellent investment
Our recent investment in a DAF LF luton dropwell lorry is proving an excellent investment! Improved fuel consumption on motorway journeys as well as local removals in Nottingham is a great saving as well as the image the new vehicle portrays for us.
