New charging points across the city
Nottingham City Council have announced plans to install 30 new electric vehicle charging points across the city at council owned public car parks. A Government grant of over £117,000 has been allocated for the costs.
The Council wish to make it easier for the large number of city residents who have no off-street parking to be able to own and charge an electric vehicle. As on street charging is difficult to operate using car parks is a more practical idea.
A good initiative, but I would not personally want to leave my vehicle in an empty car park late at night.
